Improve Your Life Through Therapy

At Stable Life Counseling Center, LLC, I use a variety of different techniques to help you overcome life's many challenges. I provide counseling to people who are age 9 and older in Victoria, Texas, and the surrounding areas.  I use the following types of therapy to help them in areas such as:  Anger Management and Individual, Couples, and Family Counseling.

Animal-Assisted Therapy

Horses and other animals can be a valuable tool in the therapeutic process. By participating in activities with animals, you can learn about yourself and others. During each session, you are encouraged to discuss difficult feelings and identify behavioral patterns that you may need to adjust.

Christian Counseling

At Stable Life Counseling Center, LLC, I believe that God works through us and that we are merely His vessels. If you request Christian counseling, I will use resources created by a number of Christian authors and influences, including:

• Joel Osteen • Joyce Meyer • Matthew Kelly • Gary Smalley

Outdoor Therapy

Through experience, I have learned that incorporating natural resources into therapy not only helps you relax but also offers much-needed distractions, especially when discussing difficult topics. When you are focusing on the physical activities that they are partaking in, you are less likely to feel inhibited or uncomfortable while discussing certain emotions.

Solution-Focused/Brief Therapy

During solution-focused therapy, I aim to help you come to terms with your past, live in the present, and plan for your future. By staying focused on the goals at hand, we can work together to achieve this and work through personal issues in the shortest amount of time possible.

Family Systems

In addition to examining how the family functions as a whole, together we look at how each person within the family contributes to the overall group dynamic. During family sessions, I may bring different family members together to work through difficult matters using the skills learned during individual sessions.
